NOIR SILHOUETTE

DRESS - NOVEM & KNIGHT / BELT - TOPSHOP / BAG - WHISTLES / HEELS - ASOS

*That leg though*

Shirt dresses have been a huge thing since summer last year and it's a style I fell in love with, whether they are cinched in at the waist or just left hanging loosely, which this one looks fab styled that way too FYI.

They are brilliant to wear causally in the daytime with a pair of converse or ballet pumps, as like a fail safe just throw on and go look or as I styled it here with a pair of heels and a statement belt for a more dressed up look, which I did for a 'date night' look and I just so felt good and confident, especially with the side split that the Novem & Knight Indie dress has. It just adds a little somethin' somethin' and I think pulls the whole shape of the dress together.

Also if you haven't noticed I'm trying a more ashy / grey tone through my hair which for me is quite risqué as I usually just stick with the standard brunette, blonde or bronde look but I'd seen grey hair and grey tones a lot and really wanted to give it a try so with my hair being so warm toned naturally I thought I'd start subtly with just a few strands and I am loving it so far and would love to add more to my hair at some point.

  1. I love shirt dresses recently. They look as awesome in casual outfits as in more formal ones.
    Great outfit, Hannah!
